Question by Flying Pig a.k.a The Fat Lady: How will health care reform affect specialist care?
On my insurance, I have a copay for regular doctors, then a ‘specialist’ copay for doctor’s like chiropractors, podiatrists, etc. I have trouble with my feet and try to avoid surgery at all costs. In order for this, I visit my chiropractor and podiatrist regularly. Will they be affected with health care reform? Will thier rates change? Might I have to start paying cash for visits?

As long as your have insurance it will be whatever they set your copay as you wont have to pay to much like mine went up to non-specialtity doc visit and iv never seen a specilatist so i dont know how much that was.

Question by : what health problems could make you not be able to loose weight?
Okay, so I am 5 foot 5, 180 pounds and it fluctuates about 3 pounds up for down depending but no matter what I cant lose weight! I run every day, my job entails me to walk around all day long, I eat very healthy, small portions of food, I strictly drink water nothing else. But I just don’t lose weight, but over the years I gain..? Something medically has to be wrong, anyone else on the diet regiment that I am in would lose weight.

Question by cutie93: How do I report a rat being at a food store to the health services ?
I was at the mall and there was a rat runninng around the place at a cinnabon yesterday. Then the manager killed it with his foot and mopped the mess away. Without cleaning the mop he mopped the rest of the floor around the store so there were rat germs everywhere. Then when I got my food there were strands of hair in the cinnabon. How do I report this ?

You can call the department of agriculture for your state. They should either be able to take a complaint or direct you to the proper reporting agency.

Pose Running

Pose running is a technique of running that for some people has led to a reduction in the number of running injuries that they get. In other runners, Pose running has led to an increase in running injuries, particularly Achilles tendonitis, posterior tibial tendonitis and metatarsal stress fractures. Pose running involves more of a forward lean to use gravity more and a forefoot or midfoot strike of the ground rather than a rearfoot strike. There is some evidence that there is an energy cost to Pose running compared to the more traditional running.

Question by Joann C: What kind of recovery should he expect from basal cancer on his foot/ankle?
My Dad was just diagnosed with this and was told he needed to have either radiation or surgery. He opted for the surgery, so they are going to take skin from his stomache and graft it where the cancer was. What kind of recovery will he have and whats the prognosis? They told him it would be done as outpatient. Hes 66 and in good health otherwise.

Answer by J B
You will have to ask his surgeon this questions because the answer to your question will come when they remove the cancer and see how deep it goes into the tissues. They will have to wait for the pathology report to make sure they got the cancer and surrounding margins before your surgeon can make this prediction.
