I did a little research on how long it takes to get a potentially life-saving procedure like an MRI. The average wait for an MRI was 78 days.

People die waiting to find out what’s wrong with them.

This link says 7-9 months wait.

Basically, medical care there is controlled by bureaucrats who don’t care much whether you live or die as long as they meet their budget goals.

They prohibit doctors from making more than a certain amount of money each year – so the doctors stop working when they’ve made that amount. Or, they come to the US to moonlight.

Well I’m 17 years old, 1.71 m (about 5.5 feet) tall and weigh 60 kg (about 130 pounds). I’m not too skinny but I look younger than I am (since I am not really tall either), so I want to gain some weight. Around 3-4 kg within the next month. Any good advice to do so without putting my health in danger?

***I normally eat enough, somewhat more than a balanced nutrition.

The strap is a hard rubber material with 3 pairs of slots cut into it to fit onto the pedal pegs. Unfortunately, I’ve ripped the first 2 slots while cycling, and now the strap is too short to make a sufficient ‘bow’ for my foot to fit into.

You can get replacement straps or replace the whole pedal.

I work at a desk with my wireless router next to my feet for about 6-7 hours a day. It’s not a very powerful one and it meets all the international standards, but can it affect my health being that close to it? Thanks!

As far as I know, its about the same as your cell phone. It emits radiation. Probably like standing next to an operating microwave all day.

Ive been working for that company for 14 years.I had an accident at work about 5 years ago, and a metal rod fell on my foot and and they paid for the hospital bills but still till this day my foot really hurts and still get swollen. the company doctor sent me to a speacialist, but my boss told me today that the company is no longer held responsible for it. what can i do about this? Is it legal for them not to pay?

If you took a settlement or closed the case, the company is no longer responsible.
If the case was closed without a settlement, you can try to get the case reopened.

If you took a settlement, that was suppose to include any future medical costs. If it wasn’t there is nothing you can do about it now. This is what you agreed to.

I am 16 years old, and a little over 80 pounds. I am 5 foot 3 inches.
For years, I have tried to gain weight in order to become healthier and stronger, not to mention feel more secure in social situations. What are some ways that can help me put on some pounds without hurting my body, especially my heart? My family has a history of heart complications.

And no, I don’t throw up. I have an incredibly high metabolism, which also runs in the family.

Say if the waiting period is 10 months and you conceive 4 months from the start of maternity rider. Does this mean that the insurance company will foot the bill for delivery but not the pre-natal care , ultrasounds etc ? If you are a part of an employer’s group plan with maternity benefits/maternity rider, does this waiting period work differently?

yes in group plans they treat maternity as any other illness but they may consider this pre-existing any way

i have 2 two year old paint fillys. they are in general good health. diet is free range forage on pasture/fields; receiving plain oats twice a day, plenty of water. i just want to know what i should look for that a novice(like me!) wouldn’t notice right away. they are hosed down twice a day(we live in southwest kansas–over 100 degree days abound in the summer right now) and they love it–and it is ice cold well water but they stand right there waiting for it…lol! they have both had their feet trimmed minimally. thanks for any advice!

Colic can happen it they overeat, either grain or grass in Spring when they have been eating hay. You should try cleaning their hooves regularly, preferably daily.
Horses can get bruises on their soles and that can lead to abscess. Other diseases are prevented by vaccinations, like West Nile or strangles and horse ‘flu.
