Question by brilbeaut: i had foot surgery (bunion) — what kind of exercise can I do to maintain muscle strength and aerobic health?
Just had bunion surgery (metatarsal fusion), and while I can carefully walk on my foot, I don’t want to put weight on it. Standing exercises of any kind won’t work.
Where can I find workouts for me? I have small weights. (I’m 4′11″, middle-aged, 115 lbs, not very toned but willing to put in the effort).

Sit ups and leg raises would be helpful. The more the better. You can do any of the standard dumbell exercises for your upper body that can be done sitting or lying down. That means curls, triceps extensions, flys, side arm raises, and (if you have a narrow bench) reverse flys and rowing motions.
You should do leg raises or situps until you cannot and then do the different dumbell exercises to exaustion. With the small weights, this should not be very strenuous. If you need more cardio effect, repeat the whole sequence.
Have you considered swimming and other water exercises?
