Question by aking5150: Hard painful spots on the soles of my foot?
On the ball and right in the middle. From what I’ve looked up they might be calluses, but why am I getting more?!? I had the one on the ball of my foot for a while now, but I’ve now noticed a cluster of 3 more. They hurt!!! What do I do? I won’t have health insurance for 2 more months, so the doctor is out for now!

Coud it be a plantars wart? I had one and it was PAINFUL! IT wouldnt go away even when I had it cut out. Finally I went to a different Podiatrist and he put this chemical stuff on it twice a week and it took it away forever.

sounds like you have plantar’s warts. one home remedy that typically works in the early stages is acetone based nail polish remover. soak a cotton ball in the polish remover and press onto affected area. it will kill the fungus.

be sure you have acetone based polish remover because others won’t work

Sounds like you have plantar warts. They’re really pretty easy to get rid of, and you can do it yourself. You can buy a wart freezing kit at a drugstore, such as Walmart. Follow the instructions, and it should take care of your problem in a few days.

The freeze-off hurts a little, but its not unbearable. Good luck!

Buy a pumice stone (only a few bucks at the drug store) and rub on the calluses to sand down (this shouldn’t hurt because a callus is dead skin build up.) If you live near the beach taking a walk on the sand which can do this natrually. To avoid getting them again buy arch support pads for your shoes. Good luck!

Try soaking it in Epsom salts. If it’s a fungal thing this will clear it up.

Try looking online for natural remedies to your problem. Or you can try natural health stores. They offer wonderful remedies to every kind of problem. It could be the shoes your wearing also. Try a good soothing foot bath in warm water with foot powder or a little sea salt. Salt has many natural healing properties. Do some online research first then take that FOOT PLUNGE!!!
