Question by : How can I gain weight without clogging my arteries or having other health issues?
I am 16 years old, and a little over 80 pounds. I am 5 foot 3 inches.
For years, I have tried to gain weight in order to become healthier and stronger, not to mention feel more secure in social situations. What are some ways that can help me put on some pounds without hurting my body, especially my heart? My family has a history of heart complications.

And no, I don’t throw up. I have an incredibly high metabolism, which also runs in the family.

  1. Dyani says:

try building muscle it weighs more than fat and you’ll still be fit but remember you may lose some weight at first because you’re losing some fat but you’ll gain it back through the muscle hope this helps

  2. Prism Eyes says:

Start trying the following exercises, which will build muscle on you:

    *Hindu push-ups
    *Hindu squats
    *Bridges

You can find all three demonstrated online at YouTube.

Do these exercises almost every single day and otherwise eat as much food as you want. Jus try to get all those calories you’ll eat from healthy sources: lean beef, seafood, fruit, veggies, fiber (whole grains).
