Question by joe: How could a 6 foot tall male get legally administered HGH?
It’s my understanding that HGH has many other health benefits than just height increase. It also my understanding that one does not have to be gh deficient to receive it, the patient only needs to be short as minimum requirement. I also understand that one can not grow any taller from HGH if the growth plates are closed. That being said, without respect to height increase, what are some of the other positive benefits from using HGH?

Question by tw3: Has the health insurance industry shot itself in the foot?
Tripling premiums on individuals, doubling premiums for groups? Spending exhorbitant amounts on lobbying instead of lowering premiums so that more individuals could afford premiums.
mbrcatz – read your answer and thought aha an agent.

not obese, don’t screw around, two normal healthy births in early sixties, paid 5 for first and 0 for second, in cash, no insurance. Don’t ski, hang glide, etc. Was once rear ended at red light by drunk driver at 8 in morning on way to work. Have no disability, take no medications, have no health problems at all, but paid ,500 last year in health premiums, ins co. paid only for mammogram, pap smear, blood work for yearly physical and . for doctor. Your telling me they only made profit off of me.
At the time of renewal of the policy they increased my premium .00 a month. I cancelled.
Oh yes, about the C sections. My 90 year old Aunt and Uncle is still taking care of their 70 year old damaged child because the Doctor tried to prove a point and waited too long to give the C section.
Any more remarks mbrcatz?

can pre-/med/health students give me some advice on how to perform simple surgery on the bottom of my foot?

Question by sbee.reed: can pre-/med/health students give me some advice on how to perform simple surgery on the bottom of my foot?
hey guys,

i am a pre-med student and am very comfortable with doing this myself.

it all happend when i stepped on a piece of glass and it was too deep to get it out, and i was too lazy to scrape around it with a tweezers to pull it out. well now the skin has fully healed over, and it’s very painful to walk on it. i really need it taken out.

it seems so simple, so i’m not going to a doctor. my main question is how can i anesthetize the area (which is distal to the the bottom of my foot)? it doesn’t have to be completely numb, i can handle some pain, but are there any home remedies that can anesthetic properties?

any other tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
premed students are required to take a year min of human anatomy and physiology, which is very informative about the human body. it’s not just ochem :)

and yes distal to my foot, just before my toes though.
i’m not really worried about infection.. i have tons of iodine and rubbing alcohol and know how to use it!

first off, Pre-meds know jack about medicine or surgery. They don’t teach that stuff in Organic chemistry.
Second, distal to the foot are your toes.
Third, you’ll get laughed at calling them tweezers in a medical setting.
Finally, Go see your doctor. I’m not advising you to mutilate your foot. Leave it to a professional.

How much $$ is FAIR for a 3 foot Florida King Snake?

Question by sandy: How much $$ is FAIR for a 3 foot Florida King Snake?
We bought a Florida King Snake in the later part of August 2006, so we’ve had him for 5 months. He’s grown 8 inches and is now over 3 feet long. We’d like to sell him for the main reason my 11 year old son is bored with him. He has no health problem and eats consistantly every week. We did try to explain that snakes don’t do much except move around their cage every now and then.
I know that is a awful reason and we shouldn’t have bought him in the first place. I appologize to any snake advocates for not thinking this one out. We wouldn’t dare harm or kill him just to get rid of for there has to be somebody that would like to have him. We payed over .00 for him when he was in the pet store.
I’d like to know : WHAT is a FAIR asking price for him?
We live in CO
and yes the cage, water dish, light, even extra bedding, (although all we use is sand for playgrounds) 3 rocks and a climbing branch that is about the size of a 50cent piece, are all included.
black with yellow rings is color and 20 gallon aquarium

Question by beckh50: I am a married 55 yr old female. Have several health issues…obesity, back pain, leg & foot pain, High BP,?
high cholesterol. high trigs. I have not worked enough in my lifetime to earn enough SS credits and so I’m looking at having to depend on my spouse for security when I’m that age. I am unable to work because of all these problems in which I’ve had for many years and take meds for. Everyone tells me to apply for disability. I’ve been told to do this for the past 2-3 yrs, but I don’t feel I could get it. Ive been told I COULD get SSI Disability. Does anyone have any knowledge of this and is there a possibility I could? I don’t understand all these terms or how this works. Thanks.

First you need a doctor to say you need SSI, then you need a lawyer willing to work with SSI to get you on it.

You can try changing your diet to make you feel better. Try a no wheat, no dairy, no sugar diet for a week. See how you feel and if you start feeling better, go another week and so on. I am 56, overweight, and have osteo arthritis and fibromyalgia. Since I went on this diet in jan1 2010, I have lost 12 lbs and I am feeling better, I still have bad days but my good days are good. I was not able to get SSI.

HGH is a steroid hormone that when you take it, your body stops producing it’s own HGH hormones. You become dependent upon it and since it is artificial, it will damage your DNA and shorten your life.

Improve your diet and your body will make it’s own HGH. It’s bad diet that causes your body to produce less and less HGH of it’s own. Learn what the good fats are and you will see that you will gain lots of sustained energy and an increase in your own HGH.

I traveled to Asia during the whole SARS freakout. At the airport you had a short “screening” where you were asked a few questions about how you were feeling, etc. Anyone who failed the screening was put into quarentine.
