Question by Dieuserviteur: are there health natural treatments professionals in Loma Linda, CA?
My brother is diabetic, and feels more comfortable to have his foot wound treated by natural treatments. But he doesn’t know how to find a professional. Could you help?

Best answer:

Answer by Feral
Dr. Wellhausen is in Loma Linda but I have not had any experience with him but have heard good things.

If your brother doesn’t mind the drive, I suggest Dr. Whitaker in Newport Beach.

He can call both of them to see what type of payments they accept and what he feels more comfortable.

You can also do a search for “Naturopathic Doctors”. These are doctors that are trained at healing problems with natural remedies mixed with modern medicine as opposed to MDs that usually only prescribe drugs and are really only beneficial in emergency situations.

Do you think there would be such a problem passing a health care bill if politicians weren’t getting health ca?

Question by jemrx2: Do you think there would be such a problem passing a health care bill if politicians weren’t getting health ca?
If I was in charge of changing something that I liked just the way it is, I would probably be dragging my feet the whole way. I say take away congressional members’ health coverage, as well as their family’s. Tell them their policies will be re-instated when they pass a bill for the rest of the nation.

Question by foxyraley: Are there any REAL studies re health risks living near a freeway?

I don’t have any studies but consider these as possible side effects you may face.
Noise – With a freeway near you there will be traffic noise, occasional accidents and loud bangs, and plenty of sirens from emergency vehicles and police. Plus car and truck horns.
Pollution – Carbon monoxide from all of the vehicles exhausts. Probably not a major issue unless you live lower than the freeway, where there is not much wind to blow the air around.
I know many people who live even closer than that to freeways and they have no problems at all. They just take time to learn to sleep from the noise. Most of these people have lived near a freeway for more than 20 years.

You’re probably far enough back from the freeway that a set of healthy adult lungs wouldn’t be too affected. The pollution decreases exponentially with your distance from the freeway so maybe the emission levels are about an 1/8th what they are at the freeway. Most schools are built a minimum of 500 ft from a freeway.

Are there any health risks to indulging in a foot fetish?

Question by Newly-subordinated: Are there any health risks to indulging in a foot fetish?
A friend of mine wants to indulge a fantasy of his by kissing the soles of another man’s bare feet. He’ll probably have to pay someone he finds on the web.

I told him this is somewhat risky because a) someone else could have had his tongue all over the guy’s feet before my friend gets to them and my friend could pick up those germs; b) when the guy showers he’s standing barefoot in all the muck that comes off his body and my friend would pick up germs from that. Or, the guy could have showered at the gym without flip flops and walked around the shower room and change room picking up who know what.

Am I too cautious? Are these genuine risks? Thanks.

You are right. Cleanliness is a must. Feet should be clean and healthy before indulging this fetish.

Is there any health hazards from letting Listerine soak into my feet all day everyday?

Question by cookie: Is there any health hazards from letting Listerine soak into my feet all day everyday?
I wash my feet with Listerine every day before puting on socks and going to work 10 hours. Is there any health hazards from letting Listerine soak into my feet all day everyday?
It would be nice if “they” had some kind of anti bacterial wipes for feet. Thats what I needed for my funky feet, but couldnt find any. So Listerine kills bacteria in our funkiest hole, it should handle feet easily. It worked for me, no more funky feet. You can imagine all the stuff on bottom of feet and then stick it in sock and shoe and bake all day…a recipe for funk. Just wondering if it was harmful to let it soak into our feet all day. Listerine should sell feet wipes called, “SMART FEET”, or “SWEET FEET”, or “HAPPY FEET”, or some catchy name/logo. Or maybe I should sell it? Who wants to partner up with this idea?
